I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've noticed an increase in throttle response on hot days only just after filling the gas tank all the way (I leave the engine running when I fill) so gas temp goes down after the fill, I feel the same phenomena when I'm riding my motorcycle, and the gas tank is cold to the touch after a full fill. I'm also suffering from vapor lock on really hot days, the engine turns on pretty fast first thing in the morning. I'll turn the engine off and turn it back on after coming out of a store or restaurant and it will crank quite a few times till it finally starts (I have my prvr solenoid deleted btw) if I just turn the key to on but don't crank I can hear a bubbling sound in the gas tank like fuel vapors are being pushed through the return line.
